Evan Danals is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over a decade of experience in accounting and tax services. He began his career in public accounting at Bennett Thrasher and Aprio (formerly Habif, Arogeti, & Wynne), two of Atlanta's most esteemed firms. He then spent the past eight years at Zapier, a Silicon Valley tech startup, where he played a pivotal role in managing the entire accounting cycle.

From bookkeeping and payroll to tax compliance and automation, Evan has worn many hats. He has led efforts across the accounting function—month-end close, expense reimbursement, accounts payable, software implementation, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and SOC 2 compliance. He also spearheaded the company’s R&D tax credit program, securing multi-million dollar annual federal and state tax credits, while managing U.S. and international corporate tax compliance.

Now, Evan brings his big-firm expertise and tech-forward approach to small businesses, helping them simplify their accounting, tax, and financial operations—so they can focus on growing.

When he’s not guiding clients toward financial clarity, you’ll likely find him exploring the great outdoors—fly fishing in a quiet trout stream, kayaking whitewater rapids, or hiking with his German Shepherd. Evan and his wife live in North Carolina, alongside their beloved fur family.​
